About Well Care Services
Well Care Services is owned and managed by Barbara Solon as a sole trader.
Her background is based on the health system of the NHS (National Health Service), having been trained at the Royal London Hospital and qualified as a nurse. During her nursing career, she have come across a wide spectrum of workers from different nationality background and culture with varying needs e.g. nationality and immigration advice and employment.
Barbara have also been trained in business administration at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines, and her aspiration is to combine both knowledge of nursing and business acumen to fruition.
She have been fortunate to be included as an official interpreter for the Filipino language in the roster of the Assylum and Immigration Tribunal. For the last 8 years, Ms Solon have been requested by the AIT to interpret for the Court with good results. It is through this exercise that she noticed the need for a good initial immigration advice to most of the appellant that she have come across during the course of her duty as an interpreter.
Overall Barbara have had almost 10 years of experience working in the health sector and 12 years or more on the administrative capacity. She is very active as a community leader and do outreach programmes for the Filipinos in London. She also does voluntary work as and when time and finance permit.
